The team at Chelsea Surgical Partners have worked closely with the LTA to plan and deliver a major Sports Gynaecology Conference, held at the National Tennis Centre in November 2023.
Mr Srdjan Saso and Miss Maya Al-Memar worked with Professor Michael Dooley and Dr Guy Evans from the LTA to put together the programme for the two day event, which was attended by more than 40 medics and sports professionals with an interest in female athlete health representing organisations such as the FA, ECB, LTA, RFU, LET, England Netball and UK Sports Institute.
The programme featured expert speakers and round table discussions on a range of important topics including female physiology, menopause, pregnancy, mental health and nutrition, as well as case studies detailing the current women's health strategies from some of the highest profile sports teams in the UK.
