Miss Stacey Bryan recognised for excellence at the Caribbean and African Health Network awards

All the team at Chelsea Surgical Partners would like to offer their congratulations to Miss Stacey Bryan, who was recently awarded ‘Oncology Clinician/Specialist of the Year’ at the Caribbean & African Health Network (CAHN) Black Healthcare Awards.

The awards celebrate healthcare professionals of Black African or Caribbean origin who have shown themselves to be outstanding in their practice and have a determination to make a difference. They are the first awards to focus solely on Black healthcare professionals of the Caribbean or African diaspora.

Stacey shared, “I didn’t expect to win this award as I was up against two incredible candidates who are well established in their field. It was very nice to be recognised for my work not only in my day-to-day job, but as Vice Chair of the British Caribbean Doctors & Dentists Association (BCDD), where our aim is to improve health literacy and empower members of the African and Caribbean community in order to improve health outcomes.

"By winning this award I hope that it will open doors for more collaborative working with other organisations to make a difference.”

Congratulations Stacey.
